Participation in the Color Hawk Walk is 100% FREE for Northern Hills staff, students, and families. Student fundraising efforts and generous monetary and in-kind donations from our community finance the event. Northern Hills is a Title 1 school of approximately 500 students, with 40% of enrollment from low-income families. Event donations from the community allow all students and families access to attend an exciting school event at no cost, and allow more student fundraising dollars to support other internal initiatives, such as field trips, teacher grants, and other educational/literacy benefits.
